The University of Ottawa Division of Plastic Surgery is recognized across Canada and internationally for its contributions to the advancement of reconstructive surgery. Division members dedicate themselves to furthering standards of education, research and patient care in reconstructive surgery. Faculty members are leaders in the fields of nerve reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, and breast reconstruction. They are frequently sought to present at national and international conferences and have been featured in local and national news outlets. Furthermore, many serve in consulting roles in the development of new technologies in their fields. The division’s highly skilled faculty offers services at the Ottawa Hospital, as well as the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). Each surgeon has their own specialties, however emergency services are provided by all surgeons.
